By registering for or participating in any CPR, AED, or First Aid training course offered by Qualified Hands LLC, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Registration and Payment
Enrollment: Your class spot is confirmed only after Qualified Hands LLC receives full payment.
Course Fees: Course fees are provided during registration and may be changed without notice.
Payment Methods: Qualified Hands LLC accepts the payment methods made available during registration.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Student Cancellations: To be eligible for a full refund, cancellations must be submitted at least 72 hours, or 3 business days, before the scheduled class date. Cancellations made after this deadline may be non-refundable.
Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be submitted at least 3 days before the scheduled class date. A rescheduling fee equal to 20% of the course fee will apply.
No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notice will result in forfeiture of the course fee.
Company Cancellations: If Qualified Hands LLC cancels a course due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered either a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to a future class.

3. Course Participation and Requirements
Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may be denied entry or required to reschedule to preserve the integrity of the course.
Physical Activity: CPR and First Aid courses may require kneeling on the floor, performing chest compressions on manikins, rescue breathing, and other physical activities. By participating, you acknowledge these requirements and confirm that you are physically capable of performing them.
Health Conditions: Participants should notify the instructor before class of any condition, injury, or physical limitation that may affect their participation. Qualified Hands LLC does not provide medical advice or medical clearance.
Professional Conduct: Qualified Hands LLC maintains a professional learning environment. Disruptive, threatening, harassing, or disrespectful behavior is not permitted. Qualified Hands LLC reserves the right to remove a participant from a course without a refund.

4. Certification
Completion Requirements: Certification is granted only after successful completion of all required course components, including skills demonstrations and written examinations, when applicable.
Certifying Organization: Certifications are issued according to the requirements of the applicable certifying organization, such as the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or another authorized organization.
Certification Cards: Digital or physical certification cards are generally provided according to the timeframe established by the applicable certifying organization. Qualified Hands LLC is not responsible for delays caused by a certifying organization, technical issues, or circumstances outside its control.
No Guarantee of Certification: Enrollment or attendance does not guarantee certification. Participants must satisfy all applicable course and testing requirements.

5. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Participation in CPR and First Aid training may involve physical activity and the use of training equipment. By participating, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with these activities and voluntarily assume those risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Qualified Hands LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for personal injury, property damage, or other losses arising from participation in training, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

This section does not eliminate or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.

6. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
All course materials, including manuals, videos, presentations, handouts, graphics, and other content, are owned by Qualified Hands LLC or its licensors.

Course materials may not be copied, reproduced, recorded, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

7. Privacy and Personal Information
Qualified Hands LLC may collect and use registration and contact information to process enrollment, communicate with participants, administer courses, and issue certifications.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Qualified Hands LLC’s privacy practices.

8. Changes to These Terms
Qualified Hands LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on the applicable website or otherwise provided to participants and will become effective upon posting or on the stated effective date.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of the state or jurisdiction in which Qualified Hands LLC operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any required legal action will be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
